Xiaomi just unveiled its top-end flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. As a result, it appears that the successor to the 14 lineup may be closer than expected. Xiaomi’s 15 series could be announced within six months.
Xiaomi 15 is expected to launch in the same timeframe as Xiaomi 14. It was first revealed in October 2023 and released globally in Q1 2024. The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro may also arrive mid-October 2024, according to a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station.
Its global rollout is likely to begin in the early months of 2025. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will debut for the first time in the Xiaomi 15 series, according to what we know so far. The same tipster shared more information in a previous report. Among the Xiaomi 15’s features will be a 50MP periscope lens and a high-magnification telephoto lens.
As with its predecessor, the Xiaomi 15 is expected to feature a 6.36-inch flat display. In addition, the series will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. As of right now, this is still just speculation, so take it with a grain of salt.
