As a phone that was launched in November 2023, the vivo X100 Pro offered a unique imaging experience. There are two more variants of the X100 in development, each slightly different from the other.
An official-looking image shared widely on social media in China suggests the vivo X100 Ultra and X100s are on their way. Unlike the vanilla and Pro, the Ultra will use the same camera alignment as the triple shooters.
As the picture was shared so much across Weibo, we couldn’t track its origin or find a high-resolution version. There is still a Zeiss logo on the lens, along with some writing on the rim, which indicates an 85 mm equivalent telephoto camera and a 14 mm equivalent wide-angle camera on the X100 Ultra. Vivo X100 Ultra is also expected to launch with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Vivo X100s main difference from current two phones is its new chipset. According to benchmarks posted by a vivo executive, the Dimensity 9300+ will have a slightly faster major core – 3.4 GHz versus 3.25 GHz.
In the next few days, a launch date will be announced for the phones. Vivo should bring the X100 Ultra and X100s to international markets instead of limiting them to China.
