Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro last year as the world’s first phones equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. According to reports, OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 13 this year with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. In a new development, Xiaomi 15 series will soon undergo internal testing in China.
Digital Chat Station revealed details about the Xiaomi 15 series in a recent Weibo post. In spite of the fact that DCS didn’t specify the names of the phones he was talking about, it seems likely that the information refers to the Xiaomi 15 lineup.
It is reported that the Xiaomi 15 series will enter its next internal testing phase in April. It will enter mass production in September.
An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is supposed to be built into the screen of the 15 series along with a new periscope telephoto camera. We will have to wait and see if these features will be included in the final lineup.
There will be two screen sizes available for the Xiaomi 15 series. According to a recent leak, the standard model will come with a 6.36-inch flat OLED screen. In the Pro variant, the screen may be larger, but it is unknown exactly how big it will be. The phones support 1.5K and 2K resolutions, respectively.
