Around the end of this year, Xiaomi is likely to unveil the Xiaomi 15 series. The brand is reportedly testing new cameras for their upcoming flagship devices, according to known tipster Digital Chat Station. It appears that the lineup will receive a new 50MP periscope sensor. According to the tipster, the company is also testing a high-magnification telephoto lens for the series.
Digital Chat Station claims the Xiaomi 15 will be equipped with Qualcomm’s SM8750 processor, which is likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Most chips from Qualcomm’s flagship processors are released by Xiaomi first. Accordingly, we can expect it to be one of the first chips of this kind.
The Xiaomi 15 will retain its 6.36-inch flat display, as reported previously. It is expected that the lineup will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded in the display. Be aware that these are still unconfirmed leaks, so take this report with a pinch of salt and stay tuned.
