Just hours ago, we reported Samsung and Google were working together on new AI features for their respective smartphone lines. Now, a new rumor says the next version of Samsung’s Android skin will include new AI features.
One UI 6.1.1 will include one “key functional innovation”, namely “video AI”, according to Ice Universe. There are no actual details about what that means or how it will work.
There is no doubt that it will either be generative AI-powered video creation, or an AI-powered improvement to video recording on-device. Remember, this is just speculation.
Since One UI 6.1 debuted on the Galaxy S24 family at the previous Unpacked event, it is likely that One UI 6.1.1 will be introduced alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6.
Samsung and Google might even have co-developed this feature – the timing of this rumor strongly suggests that. As soon as we find out more, we will let you know.
