GalaxyClub reports that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra could be Samsung’s third foldable phone this year. The rumor mill has mentioned its existence before. According to Winfuture.de, the Z Fold 6 would be accompanied by an Ultra-branded foldable phone in February.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 debuted with the model number SM-F946, and its successor, the Z Fold6, is reportedly assigned the model number SM-F956. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra could be marketed as the SM-F958 by GalaxyClub.

As seen in devices like the Galaxy S24 Ultra with the SM-S928 model number, Samsung appears to use the “8” suffix mostly for its “Ultra” variants. The SM-F958 model number has been revealed, but the title “Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra” is speculative and should be taken seriously. In spite of this, it is likely that this leak is accurate.

According to the report, the Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra may only be available in South Korea. There are currently no indications that versions for markets such as Europe and the US are being developed, despite the publication identifying the SM-F958N as a South Korean variant.

The report does not mention the Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra’s specifications. Samsung is expected to announce devices at its Galaxy Unpacked event in early July. In addition to the Z Fold 6 Ultra, the regular Z Fold6, the Z Flip6, and the Galaxy Ring are expected to be announced.
