As a follow-up to last year’s OPPO Pad 2, OPPO is reportedly working on a new device. Digital Chat Station revealed the processor powering the OPPO Pad 3 earlier this month. Weibo’s microblogging platform now brings us more details on the upcoming tablet.

The OPPO Pad 3 will feature an all-metal unibody, according to Digital Chat Station. However, the tipster mentions that it is a conventional large-screen tablet with an unknown screen size. It will also have a 3K resolution screen. Like the Find N3 the device will likely offer Panoramic Virtual Screens. If viewed closely, it will appear larger.

DCS reports that the OPPO Pad 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. With 16GB RAM, it will provide powerful performance and seamless multitasking. It is likely that there will be more RAM and storage configurations available at launch. Based on the report, the upcoming Pad 3 could offer significant improvements over the previous model.

DCS estimates that the OPPO Pad 3 will be available between April and June. The device is also rumoured to launch as a rebadged OnePlus Pad 2 in global markets in the second quarter.
