In October of this year, Qualcomm will unveil its new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. OnePlus 13 is likely to be one of the first smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip onboard. While it is several months before the OnePlus 13 is released, details about it are gradually leaking. Digital Chat Station leaked some new details about the device today.
The OnePlus 13 will feature a 6.8-inch OLED LTPO screen with a micro-curved design, according to DCS. It is expected to have a 2K resolution screen with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built-in. Previous OnePlus flagships had optical under-display fingerprint sensors. The company is testing an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, according to DCS. We will have to wait and see if it appears on the final product.
According to the leak, the OnePlus 13 will feature a multi-focal camera system. As with its predecessor, the OnePlus 13 will keep its periscope telephoto camera for a higher optical zoom.
OnePlus 13 is rumored to have a new rear design dating back to February. DCS also claims that the industrial design of the OP13 has been completely revamped today.
There has been a similar rear design on some OnePlus Ace and numbered series flagship phones in the past. In China, the company has launched two Ace-series phones, the Ace 3 and Ace 3V.
