HMD Global, the company known for Nokia-branded Android phones, just released new smartphones in its Pulse series. In addition to these phones aimed at a global audience, HMD also launched a model for the US market, called the HMD Vibe.

The new HMD Vibe sport 6.56 inches HD+ IPS LCD punch-hole 90Hz refresh rate display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The HMD Vibe with SD680 SoC is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. If you need more space, you can expand it with a microSD card.

 

The HMD Vibe features triple cameras with a 13MP main sensor coupled with 2MP depth sensor LED flash. It features an 5MP selfie shooter. There are features to optimize skin tone, HDR, and AI on all cameras.

The connectivity option includes a USB Type-C port, Wifi, Dual SIM with 4G LTE, VoLTE support, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, A-GPS, and GLONASS with a Face unlock support. It packs a 4000 mAh battery with 10W charge support. The HMD Vibe runs on Android 14 OS. Additionally, the phone is dust-proof and is capable of withstanding light splashes of water, according to its IP52 rating.

HMD Vibe will be available in the US in May for $150 (Rs.12,500/-). HMD’s website, as well as major retailers like Amazon and Best Buy, will sell it.
