Boring Phone is a joint project between Heineken and Bodega. Limited to just 5,000 units, the device will be given away as part of a giveaway by HMD. There are no third-party apps or Internet access on Boring Phone, so it is meant to be as bland as possible.
The Boring Phone is based on the Nokia 2660 Flip and has a custom monochrome theme. This device comes with a 2.8″ QVGA (240 x 320px) main screen, and a 1.77″ cover screen. On the back, a 0.3MP camera with an LED flash is located, while Mocor RTOS covers the software side. Among the other features of the device are the Snake game, FM radio, and headphone jack.
Boring Phone is 4G-enabled and has a dual SIM card slot. There is 128MB of internal storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card. On 3G/4G networks, the removable 1,450mAh battery will provide up to a week of standby and 6 hours of talk time.
