Motorola announced the new Motorola Edge 50 Pro earlier last week in India. Now the company has officially revealed the Global launch event for the new Motorola Edge 50 series. Yes, the company might introduce the new Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro along with Motorola Edge 50 Ultra.
As per the teaser, we can see that On April 16, Motorola will unveil its Edge 50 series in its entirety. X teased the unveil with a teaser entitled ‘Intelligence Meets Art’. There is likely to be a trio of Edge 50 smartphones on display at the event. Earlier this month, the Edge 50 Pro was announced to be coming to Europe on April 16.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro:
The new Motorola Edge 50 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K 10-bit OLED display with curved edges on either side. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The device is powered by the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage space.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 117-degrees FoV. There is another 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, 50x Hybrid zoom, Laser AF & LED flash. There is a whopping 50MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. It includes features such as AI adaptive stabilization, autofocus tracking, AI photo enhancement engine, and tilt mode.
The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS. This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.
All this is packed with a 4500 mAh battery with 125W fast charge support. The device also supports 50W wireless & 10W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box.
