HTC may launch a new smartphone soon. Recently, this new device was certified by Bluetooth SIG and Geekbench.
Model number 2QDA100 suggests that the device is the successor to the HTC U23 from last year. There is a possibility that it will be called HTC U24 or HTC U24 Pro. According to Geekbench results, the 2QDA100 scored 1,095 in single-core tests and 3,006 in multi-core tests.
It will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC with an octa-core processor configuration and an Adreno 720 GPU. The device will also have 12GB of RAM and run Android 14. HTC’s upcoming U24/U24 Pro will feature vastly improved performance compared to the U23 from last year, which utilizes a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.
With the Bluetooth SIG certification, the device will support Bluetooth 5.3, enhancing its connectivity options.
HTC’s new model is not yet fully specified, but it could retain features similar to its predecessors, such as a Full HD+ 120Hz OLED display and IP67 dust and water resistance. As of right now, there are no details on a launch date.
