New report reveals that it is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Upcoming Redmi Note 13 Turbo will be the most powerful phone in the series.
Redmi announced the Redmi Note 12 Turbo with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset in March 2023 in China. Poco F5, a rebranded version of the phone, will be available globally in May 2023. According to reports, Redmi Note 13 Turbo, a China-exclusive phone, will be packaged as Poco F6 in the global market.
Qualcomm might announce the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 along with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in China on March 18. Rumors indicate that it is an underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Early reports suggest the Note 13 Turbo could be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 instead of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. Smart Pikachu, a tipster, claims the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip will power the Note 13 Turbo. The leaker also claims that Redmi’s new tablet is coming soon. The Note 13 Turbo and the new tablet could break cover together in April.
Due to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 being expected on the Note 13 Turbo, the Poco F6 may feature the same chip. Globally, it may debut in April or May.
