Several rumors have already surfaced for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, including detailed renders, but a new report from WinFuture suggests we’ll see two new models. As with its Galaxy S-series, Samsung is reportedly planning to split up its Z Fold lineup with an Ultra model. According to the new rumor, we’ll see a regular Galaxy Z Fold6 with the codename Q6 and an Ultra Galaxy Z Fold6 with the codename Q6A.
It is still unclear exactly how the two Z Fold6 models differ, but according to the new report, the Ultra will feature a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 main camera.
The Z Fold6 Ultra is also said to offer stylus support, higher memory and storage configurations, and larger covers and main displays. Additionally, Samsung could offer a hinge design with a less noticeable display crease on the Z Fold6 Ultra.
In July, Samsung is expected to launch its new foldables along with the Galaxy Ring.
Galaxy Z Fold6:
As with the predecessor, there are three microphones and a speaker vent up top, along with a USB Type-C port, another microphone, and a speaker grill down below. A fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button and the volume rocker is located on the right side of the device. On the left edge is the SIM card slot.
There is also a triple camera system on the back and a flash module. Both the placement and the design are similar. When unfolded, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 measures 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1mm, with a diagonal screen size of 7.6 inches. The front of the device features a 6.2-inch cover screen.
Last but not least, based on the renders, we are inclined to believe that Samsung may still use the droplet-style hinge on the Galaxy Z Fold6.
