In July, Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 foldable phones. Also in development is the Z Fold6 Ultra, which is expected to launch by the end of the year. An upcoming leak reveals the key specs of all the foldable models that will launch this year.
Samsung is expected to release four Galaxy Z models in 2024: Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip6, and Galaxy Z Fold FE. According to reports, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold6 Ultra and Z Flip6 will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is expected that the former will support the S Pen. In addition to the Qualcomm processor, the Z Flip6 will also support the Exynos 2400 SoC.
For the first time, an Exynos chipset is being used on the foldable series, which traditionally used Snapdragon processors. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip6 is expected to come equipped with a 50MP primary camera and a 12MP secondary camera. The outer screen will also have a 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold6/Fold6 FE is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. There might be a slight difference in display size between the Fold6 and Fold6 FE.
Despite being an entry-level model, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6/ Fold6 FE may launch around September or October, two or three months after the flagships. It plans to ship 200,000 to 3000,000 entry-level Galaxy Z Fold6/FE devices. As a result, attention may be diverted from the September iPhone 16 series.
