Samsung has finally launched the budget 5G phone in India with the new Galaxy F15 5G. As expected this phone is a rebrand of the recently launched Galaxy A15 5G. The new Galaxy F15 5G will be exclusive to Flipkart in India.
Galaxy F15 5G:
The new Galaxy F15 5G sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The notch carries a 13MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. On the back, the Galaxy F15 features triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture, along with a 5MP ultra-wide & 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash.
The Galaxy F15 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. All this is packed with a 6000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.0 on top.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 5G support, Dual Band Wifi, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm audio port, and a USB Type C port. It measures 9.2 mm thick and weighs 217g. The company offers 4 years of major Android OS updates with 5 years of security updates. It comes in three colors Light Green, Light Violet & Black.
Pricing:
The Galaxy F15 5G with 4GB+128GB costs Rs.14,499/- whereas the 6GB+128GB at Rs.12,999/- in India. Further, HDFC Bank credit card users will get Rs.1000/- off also Samsung is bundling a 25W charger along with the device for just Rs.299/- but only valid on the first sale. There is also additional Rs.1000/- off on exchange of any old smartphone.
The device will go on early sale right from today at 7 PM IST.
