Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra in different markets in January. It is also expected that the Galaxy S24 FE will join the lineup as a successor to the Galaxy S23 FE. The S24 FE has not been confirmed officially, but it is expected to be unveiled in October this year, as the S23 FE was in October 2023. This device’s first details have been leaked by tipster Connor well ahead of its expected launch.
Samsung’s Galaxy S24 FE will have 12 GB of RAM, according to a tipster. Storage options include 128 GB (UFS 3.1) and 256 GB (UFS 4.0). The device will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery. It is expected to offer 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, as its predecessor did.
There is no doubt that the Galaxy S24 FE will have an AMOLED display, but the leaker is unsure of its size. There are no other details about the smartphone yet.
S23 FE was released in different markets with Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets. For the global market, the tipster suggests the S24 FE will have an Exynos chip.
Samsung’s Z series of foldable phones will feature Snapdragon chipsets, whereas the S-series will feature Exynos chipsets only. Future Galaxy A-series phones will be powered by MediaTek and Exynos chipsets, according to the tipster. This also appears to apply to M-series and F-series phones, which are merely tweaked versions of A-series phones.
