The release date of Realme’s new 12x 5G model has been officially confirmed. Several key specifications and design details have been revealed in a new teaser for the upcoming smartphone next month.
Just last week, the Realme 12x was announced in the Chinese market. We are finally seeing the arrival of this device in India on April 2nd 2024. It is also the latest model in the Realme 12 series. According to the latest teaser, the Realme 12x will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G processor. The company claims the 45W SuperVOOC wired fast charging of this device is the fastest in its price segment, thanks to a large 5,000mAh battery pack.
In addition to a dual speaker setup, this model will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display. In this teaser, the phone’s design was also shown. Realme 12x comes in dark green and purple colors with a large circular camera module at the back. The LED flash and camera sensors are housed here.
Realme 12X 5G:
Realme 12X 5G will arrive with a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400×1080p) IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The new Realme 12X 5G is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB storage space.
The device will feature tripe-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor coupled with dual 2MP macro plus depth sensor with LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. The Realme 12X 5G comes with a 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charge support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency (L1 + L5) GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, FM Radio and Bluetooth 5.2. The device also comes with stereo speakers.
Realme 12X 5G runs on Android 14 OS with Realme 5.0 on top. The device measures 7.69mm thick and weighs 190g.
