Digital Chat Station reported in January that the Oppo K12 would be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Today, the same tipster revealed other details about the smartphone on Weibo. Despite not mentioning when the device is expected to launch, it appears that China will find out about it soon.
The Oppo K12 will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, according to DCS. In addition to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the device will have 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
It is unclear what size battery or charging capabilities the K12 has. Besides a 16-megapixel selfie camera, the device’s back side features a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro/depth sensor with LED flash. As of now, it is unclear whether the Oppo K12 will inherit the Oppo K11’s display, camera, and battery specs.
In the global market last year, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 was a tweaked version of the Oppo K11. In light of this, it is likely that the Nord CE 4 or 5 on the global market this year will be based on the K12.
