OnePlus’ next-generation smartphones may feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon chipsets. New leaks suggest that the OnePlus 13 and Ace 3V may be the first to offer the newer Snapdragon 8 and 7 Gen series processors.
Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu leaks the news. According to reports, the Ace 3V will be the first device to feature a Snapdragon 7 series chip. It will have a 1.5K display that offers eye protection and a 5,500mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging.
It is similar to our previous report that was based on another Weibo tip. Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, will be featured for the first time in the high-end OnePlus 13. OnePlus 12 launched in December 2023, and the next-gen premium-grade handset might arrive around the end of this year.
The OnePlus 13 is already in development, according to a report we covered recently. The smartphone appears to be using a prototype of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. According to the report, the Chinese brand may even switch to a new design for this device as well. At the moment, this is just an unconfirmed leak, so stay tuned for more information.
