OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R to the global market in January. Shortly, Nord-branded affordable phones are expected to be launched on the market. According to leaker Max Jambor’s X post, the OnePlus Nord 4 will be the brand’s next smartphone.
Jambor stated that the Nord 4 was codenamed “Audi,” but did not provide any details about its specifications. The device may be called the OnePlus Nord 5 since some Chinese brands avoid the number 4 because it is considered a bad omen in some cultures.
In the Chinese market, OnePlus is rumored to launch the OnePlus Ace 3V smartphone. It is expected to launch this month and feature the upcoming Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor.
Last year, the OnePlus Nord 3 was an updated version of the Ace 2V, which was exclusive to the Chinese market. As a result, the Nord 4 will likely be based on the Ace 3V. The Ace 3V may remain exclusive to the Chinese market, just like its predecessor.
OnePlus Ace 3V:
OnePlus Ace 3V is believed to be the first smartphone equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. This device is expected to offer a 1.5K display, possibly with a 120Hz AMOLED panel for smooth visuals.
The new design may be the most interesting change, other than the SoC and display details. Weibo leaker Tech Geek has revealed the schematics of the OnePlus Ace 3V, revealing a completely new design. It plans to ditch its conventional design in favor of a vertically aligned camera in its next iteration.
There will be two rear cameras and a circular LED flash on the device, based on the schematic. With its flat edges, it will look similar to the recently launched Meizu 21 Pro. With the volume and power buttons on the right, the Ace 3V is likely to retain the brand’s signature alert slider on the left. The front camera will be centered in a hole in the display with minimal bezels.
