The next Motorola launch event will be held in India on April 3. There is no indication if the brand will announce the Edge 50, Edge 50 Fusion, or Edge 50 on the said date. An X post by Evan Blass, a well-known leaker, recently revealed the existence of the latter. The Edge 50 Fusion is codenamed Cusco, according to Blass.

The new Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ 10-bit pOLED curved display. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The device is powered by the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space.
The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will feature a 50MP main 1/1.55″ sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS. This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.
All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charge support. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box. Color options include Peacock Pink, Ballad Blue (with vegan leather back), and Tidal.
