By the end of the first quarter of 2024, new smartphones will be actively launched in China in the second quarter. As many as four new smartphones and a flagship tablet are expected to be released by iQOO. Earlier today, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post containing some key specs for what appears to be some upcoming iQOO devices.
DCS has shared key details about three upcoming iQOO devices on Weibo. It is rumored that the first device will have an OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (SM8635) chipset, and a 6,000mAh battery. The device may debut under the iQOO Z9 Turbo branding, according to recent reports.
It is reported that the IQOO Z9 Turbo will launch in April. Besides the Turbo model, the Z9 and Z9x are expected to incorporate the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1v chipsets, respectively.
In addition, a 13-inch LCD tablet with 3.1K resolution is also mentioned in the latest leak. With an 11,500mAh battery, it is powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset. Upon its debut in China, it is likely to be called the iQOO Pad 2. This is likely to be a rebranded version of the Vivo Pad 3 Pro tablet, which has just gone official in China.
The leak also reveals another iQOO phone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8650) processor. It will have a 1.5K OLED display and a 50MP camera with OIS. It is unclear what the final moniker will be. There is a possibility that it could be an iQOO Neo10 series phone, although some reports claim it could be a Neo9 Racing Edition or Neo9s.
