HONOR announced at MWC the global availability of its HONOR Pad 9 tablet. A landing page on Amazon.in has now been launched teasing the tablet’s India launch by HTech.
HTech’s Joint Managing Director, CP Khandelwal, confirmed on LinkedIn that the company will provide a free Bluetooth keyboard to Pad 9 users.
The Honor Pad 9 comes with a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with 500 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate, according to Amazon. In addition to dynamic dimming, TUV certification, and circadian night display, there are several other features. A circular camera module is located on the back of the tablet, which has a metal chassis. It has eight speakers for audio.
The Honor Pad 9 will be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. Besides 8GB of RAM, it has 8GB of virtual RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. There is confirmation that the tablet will have an 8300mAh battery. MagicOS 7.2 will be pre-installed.
It appears that the Indian variant of the Pad 9 also has the same specifications as the Chinese variant which was announced last December. Therefore, only the Honor Pad 9’s pricing and availability are unknown. In the coming days, we should learn more about those details.
