Samsung finally confirmed the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 yesterday morning, after weeks of rumors and leaks. As of now, the Galaxy A55 will not be coming to the United States based on the company’s official promo videos.
Now it’s time to talk about pricing – specifically, how much these smartphones cost in India. According to a new rumor today, Samsung might raise those prices higher than expected despite not making them official yet. At this point, it is an unconfirmed rumor, so it may or may not be accurate.
X reports that the Galaxy A55 starts at INR 42,999 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and goes up to INR 45,999 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB. However, the Galaxy A35 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, will cost INR 30,999 & 8GB+256GB at Rs.33,999/-.
Galaxy A55:
The Galaxy A55 5G sports the same 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rates. It comes with optical in-display fingerprint scanner support with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The Galaxy A55 5G is powered by the new Exynos 1480 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and a 128GB/256GB storage option. There is also an option to expand the memory through a microSD card slot.
The new Galaxy A55 5G will feature triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture with OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
The Galaxy A55 5G will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery but comes with 25W fast charge support. Galaxy A55 5G also gets an IP67 rating making it dust and water-resistant & Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. There are four colors available for the Samsung Galaxy A55: Navy, Ice Blue, White, and Purple.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi 6.0, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3 USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Samsung Galaxy A55 5G runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 on top.
Galaxy A35:
The new Galaxy A35 5G will sport a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It is powered by Exynos 1380 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space. It measures 8.2mm thick and weighs 209g.
Samsung Galaxy A35 5G will feature triple-rear cameras with LED flash. The device will come with a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture & OIS coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 aperture. Along with a 5MP macro-sensor with f/2.4 aperture & LED flash. There is a 13MP selfie shooter under the waterdrop notch.
The device will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charge support. It runs on Android 14 OS with One UI 6.1 on top. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner and IP67 rating making it dust and water-resistant.
