In addition to being a developer-focused event, Google’s I/O conference has always been much more than that. At that time, the company often announces new services and hardware products. Also, there are usually teasers for upcoming Pixel devices. The event has always been a staple on Google’s calendar every year, and it always takes place in May.
It’s the same this year as well, with I/O taking place on May 14. If you tune in on the day, we’ll give you all the information about the keynote(s) and sessions.
Google turned this year’s announcement of I/O day into a logic puzzle with 15 levels. We haven’t completed it yet, but other people have, so we were able to bring you the date as well after Google stopped being coy. It’s been exactly two months since Google published the puzzle.
There will be a lot of (more) talk about AI this time, since Google seems all-in with it – or, at least, all-in with constantly telling us how all-in it is. AI will certainly play a key role in I/O 2024.
