A successor to the Redmi A2, Xiaomi’s Redmi A3 is expected to bring notable improvements in both design and performance. Several African retail outlets have listed the smartphone ahead of its official launch, revealing some key details.
Redmi A3 showcases a significant design overhaul over its predecessor, according to listings. A circular camera module and a glass back give it a look similar to the Realme 11 Pro series. Three colors will be available: Black, Blue, and Forest Green.

The new Redmi A3 will sport a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & 90Hz refresh rate support. Redmi A3 is powered by an unknown MediaTek processor coupled with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It also gets a microSD card slot.
It features a 13MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
