As scheduled, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A3 in India. The Redmi A3 is the third version of the entry-level smartphone series.
It succeeds the Redmi A2 and Redmi A1, which were released in 2023 and 2022, respectively. As the first country to receive this product, India is the first to receive it.

The new Redmi A3 will sport a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & 90Hz refresh rate support. Redmi A3 is powered by an unknown MediaTek G36 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It also gets a microSD card slot.
It features a 13MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a VGA depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 13 Go Edition without any custom skin on top. The device measures 9.09 mm thick and weighs 192g.

It costs Rs. 7,299 for the Redmi A3 with 3GB + 64GB, Rs. 8,299 for the model with 4GB + 128GB, and Rs. 9,299 for the model with 6GB + 128GB.
Starting on February 23rd, the phone will be available on Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and retail stores.
Color options include Lake Blue, Midnight Black, and Olive Green. Both the first two variants have glass backs, while the last one has a leather-like finish.
