For now, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 rumours are mostly about its design. New leaks have revealed what’s believed to be the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s key specs. Also included in this leak is some information regarding the design of Samsung’s upcoming foldable phone.
During Samsung’s next Unpacked event in July, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to be unveiled. The foldable has yet to be officially launched, but leaks have begun revealing key details.
A tip on X indicates that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will not feature an S Pen slot. Like the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the foldable will also be a little wider and have sharp edges.
There is a 4,600mAh battery on board the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the phone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It will also feature three cameras, including an improved under-display camera.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be built with titanium, making it lighter and thinner. According to this leak, it will measure 11mm when folded. As a result, the Fold 6 would be much thinner than the Fold 5, which measures 13.4mm when folded. It will come in three colors, according to the tipster.
Besides a redesign, we might also see a major camera upgrade on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. An alleged 200MP sensor with a 1/1.3-inch aperture, AF, and OIS is expected to be used in the camera. Samsung needs to drastically improve on its camera, which is currently 50MP on its foldables.
