In March, Samsung will launch the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 smartphones in several markets. Winfuture.de has published a report ahead of the device’s expected launch, leaking its specs and release date.
Galaxy A55:
The Galaxy A55 5G sports the same 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rates. It comes with optical in-display fingerprint scanner support with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The Galaxy A55 5G is powered by the new Exynos 1480 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and a 128GB/256GB storage option. There is also an option to expand the memory through a microSD card slot.
The new Galaxy A55 5G will feature triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture with OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
The Galaxy A55 5G will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery but comes with 25W fast charge support. Galaxy A55 5G also gets an IP67 rating making it dust and water-resistant & Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. There are four colors available for the Samsung Galaxy A55: Navy, Ice Blue, White, and Purple.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi 6.0, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3 USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Samsung Galaxy A55 5G runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 on top.
Pricing:
In Europe, the A55 with 6GB and 8GB RAM will cost 449 euros (Rs.40,500/-) and 499 euros (Rs.45,000/-), respectively. On March 11, it will be released in Germany.
