The second smartphone from Carl Pei’s brainchild ‘Nothing’ has been available for almost seven months. Get ready for the Phone (2a) – the third member of the smartphone squad. There are so many lookalike glass slabs in the world, but Nothing’s design is incredibly unique.
While Nobody has kept most details under wraps, online rumors have been circulating about the company’s upcoming Phone (2a).
Design:
A new leak shows a device in the wild in a few photos. Sadly, the units typically come in large external cases designed specifically to hide their design, as is the case here. On the front, we got the same old center punch-hole display with slimmer bezels. Despite this, we can see the horizontal camera arrangement on the back, which is unique for a Nothing Phone. It will arrive in two colors Black & White.
Specs:
The new Nothing Phone (2a) will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glas protection both front as well as back. The Nothing Phone (2a) is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
The new Nothing Phone (2a) will feature a 50MP Samsung GN9 (f/1.8) main sensor along with a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor with LED flash. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. It packs a 4500 mAh battery with 45W fast charge support.
The Nothing Phone (2a) will run on Android 14 OS with Nothing OS 2.0 on top. Sadly, no charger is included in the retail package.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
