Soon, iQOO will announce the new iQOO Z9 in the Indian market. However, specs for the iQOO Z9 and Z9x models have leaked ahead of the launch. So let’s take a closer look at these devices, which are likely destined for China, the brand’s home market.
Digital Chat Station shared the news on Weibo. The tipster claims the iQOO Z9 model will have different specs in the Chinese market than in the Indian market. IQOO will unveil the Z9 5G in India with the Dimensity 7200 SoC. According to reports, the Chinese model will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
It will feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2800 x 1260 pixels). Meanwhile, DCS claims that the iQOO Z9x will feature an FHD+ LCD panel. This model will be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip. Both devices will likely have a 6,000mAh battery pack with fast charging capabilities.
Additionally, it is larger than the 5,000mAh battery pack expected on the Z9 5G model. According to the tipster, the iQOO Z9 could launch in China before India. As a result, the Z9 series may be unveiled in China before March 12.
