A special event will be held by HMD during the MWC this year on February 25th. Some of HMD’s upcoming smartphones are likely to be introduced at the event, which begins at 5:00 PM IST.
Geekbench recently revealed two smartphones codenamed HMD Global Legend and HMD Global LegendPro. There is a Unisoc T606 chipset at the heart of the smartphones, suggesting that they are budget phones. Additionally, the listings revealed that the phones will ship with Android 14. The IMEI database also listed nine new HMD-branded phones earlier.
A render of HMD’s midrange smartphone, which features a matte-finished back in a black color option, was also leaked.
HMD may launch three smartphones at the exclusive event on February 25th. According to some reports, HMD-branded phones will launch in the Indian market around April 2024. HMD Global will also focus on selling Nokia phones in offline markets, according to the report. In India, smartphones are likely to target the budget and mid-range segments, and they will come in a variety of fun colors.
