With pre-orders starting from 16th February, Realme will launch its Realme 12 Pro+ and Realme 12+ 5G phones in Malaysia on 29th February 2024 for RM 12 (~Rs 200). Earlier this year, the brand sold 150,000 units of its Realme 12 Pro series.
Also, Realme’s Malaysian branch posted a picture of the Realme 12+ 5G, revealing its design. While the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ have flat designs, the 12+ has a circular island on the back with three cameras (the main camera has OIS) and a Sunburst Dial. It will be available in Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige.
The device will go on pre-orders right from today in Malaysia. Those who pre-book the Realme 12+ will get Realme TechLife Wireless Buds along with the Realme Techlife Smartwatch T17C. Not just that the brand is also bundling a free 1 year extended warranty.

Realme 12+ 5G will arrive with a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400×1080p)AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Sadly, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The new Realme 112+5G is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. It is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space.
The device will feature tripe-rear cameras with a 50MP LYT-600 main sensor, OIS coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide & 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charge support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency (L1 + L5) GPS, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack with Hi-Res support, FM Radio and Bluetooth 5.1.
It runs on Android 14 OS with Realme 5.0 on top. The device measures 7.9mm thick and weighs 190g. The Realme 12+ comes in two colors with Vegan Leather back in Beige & Green colors.
