The ‘significant design changes’ that iPhone 16 models are expected to bring on board have been obtained from reputed leaksters. Majin Bu posted schematics of what he claims to be an iPhone 16 with a vertically stacked dual rear camera setup, similar to the iPhone X and 11.
In a leak from Majin Bu, the iPhone 16 is said to resemble the iPhone X and 11, and the design DNA will carry over to the Pro series as well. The iPhone 16 has a dual camera setup while the Pro will have a triple camera setup as you can see in the tagged images below.
Compared to previous reports, the tipster suggests the iPhone 16 Pro’s screen size will only increase by 0.2″ instead of 0.3″. The iPhone 16 Pro may have an increase in screen real estate at the 0.x-inch mark.
Also, the screen size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max will change from 6.7″ (in 15 Pro Max) to 6.9″. Because of the inclusion of the Capture Button, both Pro models will likely have a new button layout. It is likely that these capacitive buttons are sunken into the screen and have flat surfaces. The Capture Button and power button are located on top of the device, while the Action Button and volume rockers are located on the left side, based on the renders.
Apple to improve cooling tech on iPhone 16 Pro series:
Apple’s 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max iPhones may address overheating concerns that plagued their predecessors. In these upcoming models, Apple may incorporate graphene sheets to enhance heat dissipation. As opposed to the current titanium frame, which has a lower thermal conductivity than stainless steel, the potential integration of graphene should provide a more effective solution to overheating issues, leveraging iOS 17’s improvements for existing flagships.
There is a possibility that Apple will change things up for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. In place of the current graphite pads, graphene may be used to cool down the phone’s processor. It helps move away the heat produced by the chip, thereby making the phone run cooler.
There have been whispers about Apple diving into graphene before. According to a leak in November, Apple plans to outfit the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max with a graphene thermal system. It’s also rumored that the phone’s battery will be housed in a metal bracket.
