It is expected that the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro Max will have higher battery capacities of 3,561mAh (vs 3,349mAh on iPhone 15) and 4,676mAh (vs 4,422mAh on iPhone 15 Pro Max). A smaller battery capacity will be found on the iPhone 16 Plus (4006mAh vs 4,383mAh).
According to the tipster, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will not come with the L-shaped battery pack design of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but will instead have a rectangular battery pack like other iPhone 16 models. There is no clear reason behind the smaller battery in the iPhone 16 Plus, so we should take the news with some skepticism.
Compared to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are expected to feature larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays. The iPhone 16 non-pro model is likely to be powered by the A18 chipset, while the iPhone 16 Pro model is likely to be powered by the A18 Pro chipset.
