Xiaomi is rumored to be bringing several improvements to the upcoming Pad 7 series tablets. The Xiaomi Pad 7 series is expected to include the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro tablets. According to the latest leaks, Xiaomi is also planning a third tablet. In a new post on Weibo, the Chinese social networking site, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some key information regarding the upcoming tablets.
According to the tipster, Xiaomi will integrate the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor into the Pro variant of the upcoming generation tablet.
In addition, the tipster claims the Pro variant will not come with a 10-inch IPS panel, but rather a larger IPS panel. The refresh rate will likely remain at 144Hz. According to previous leaks, the Pro variant would continue to have a 10-inch panel.
According to the tipster, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will have a screen with slimmer bezels and an improved design. Similar to the Xiaomi 14 series smartphones, the base tablet will have a camera module. HyperOS will run on Android 14 out of the box on the upcoming tablets.
According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is also working on a new tablet powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The tipster suggests Xiaomi will likely equip this tablet with an OLED display. Xiaomi Pad 7 Max could be the name of the upcoming tablet, which will debut in Q3 of 2024.
Later this year, Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro tablets. It has been reported that the Xiaomi tablet’s Pro variant will feature a 10000mAh battery. Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will support 120W fast charging.
