A similar camera design can be found in its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. There are a few key details about the 14 Ultra’s main and periscope telephoto cameras that can be gleaned from the text mentioned in the camera module.
According to the image, the camera module of the alleged 14 Ultra bears the “VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.63-2.5/12-120 ASPH” branding along with “Leica”. There is a remarkable aperture range of f/1.63 to f/2.5 on the SUMMILUX. Due to its variable aperture design, the maximum aperture of the main camera is expected to be f/1.63, providing impressive performance with the 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 camera.
Moreover, the periscope telephoto lens will see an upgrade from its previous aperture of f/3.0 to f/2.5 in the new generation 13 Ultra. Ultimately, this upcoming iteration represents a significant advancement in lens technology, increasing the amount of light the camera system can capture.
