At Samsung’s recent Unpacked event, three models of the Galaxy S24 series were introduced: the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra. To overcome challenges in flagship sales caused by market competition, Samsung is now focusing on AI technology. Even the smartphones were overshadowed by AI features at the event. After 2025, Samsung’s Galaxy AI features will cost extra for users.
Our daily lives have become increasingly dependent on subscription services. Regularly paying for subscriptions makes things like gaming, listening to music, and other products more affordable than buying them outright. In addition to small items, these services also cover assets like cars and phones. Every subscription service wants to establish a regular and uninterrupted revenue stream. Galaxy AI is Samsung’s attempt to achieve this.
Galaxy AI features in the S24 series will be free until the end of 2025, according to Samsung. If users wish to continue using these features afterward, they will have to pay a fee. The exact amount of this fee has not yet been determined. If users lose critical functions a year later, they might be disappointed, but that’s a concern for 2025.
