For the Chinese market, Redmi is reportedly developing the Redmi K70 Ultra flagship phone. The key specifications of the device were shared by tipster Digital Chat Station at the end of last year without explicitly naming it. More K70 Ultra details were reportedly revealed today by the leaker.
Digital Chat Station, a reliable leaker, talks about a phone without naming it. According to Chinese media and people who commented on the Weibo post, the leaker could be talking about the Redmi K70 Ultra.
According to the leak, the device will feature an 8T LTPO OLED panel with ultraslim bezels. Its peak brightness may reach 5,000 nits, and its resolution will be 1.5K. This device will be powered by a Dimensity 9300 chip. When it arrives in China, the upcoming Redmi phone with the D9300 chip will be called the Redmi K70 Ultra, according to previous leaks.
The leaker claimed that the device would come with 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM. LPDDR5T is currently only available in Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, which max out at 16 GB of RAM in their highest configurations. In addition, the LPDDRT variants of the X100 series are only available in China. In terms of RAM, it appears that the Redmi K70 Ultra might be the first smartphone with 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM.
According to the leak, the K70 Ultra will also come with 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. A K60 Ultra-inspired chassis may continue to be offered as the device’s IP68 rating. A durable aluminum frame is also expected to be included.
