Realme is gearing up for the launch of its Realme 12 Pro 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G devices on Jan. 29. Realme 12 Pro Max 5G might also be in the pipeline, according to recent developments. Yogesh Brar leaked key specifications and pricing details for the Max model recently. In addition, 91mobiles reported that a Flipkart listing briefly appeared, offering insights into the device’s features before it was removed.

Last week, the Realme 12 Pro series was showcased at CES 2024 in Las Vegas. The successor to the popular number series will also be launched in India in January. There’s been a slip-up on Flipkart’s end regarding the upcoming smartphones, which have been sold through the retailer for a while now.

The Realme 12 Pro Max has been spotted in a Flipkart listing (now removed), which confirms a few details and shows the full render for the upcoming device. It was also confirmed that the device would come with 8GB of RAM. The brand has already showcased the “Submarine Blue” color option. Like the Realme 11 Pro series, the smartphone will have a curved display, as shown in a hands-on video earlier this month.

Realme 12 Pro Plus:

A cream version of the Realme 12 Pro+ will have golden trim around the camera island and the body, and it will also have a “polished sunburst dial.”

As part of its comparison between its upper midranger and the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S24 series, the company also revealed some more camera specifications. In this version, it will boast not 100x, but 120x zoom, a 64MP telephoto camera with a 1/2″ sensor, corresponding to an increase of 27.62% over Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 1/2.52″ imager.

There will be a bigger sensor inside the main camera of the Realme 12 Pro+. As with the OnePlus 11, Realme GT3, and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, it features the same 50 MP 1/1.56″ Sony IMX890 with OIS. The IMX890 will likely appear on one of the 12 Pro devices, probably the Plus variant; the regular 12 Pro will likely get the 200 MP unit seen in last year’s Realme 11 Pro+.
