POCO announced its POCO X6 series and POCO M6 Pro smartphones. The X6 lineup includes the standard and pro models. As the launch event approaches, Xiaomi has teased some of the new features of the latest devices. Both the X6 and X6 Pro appear to be rebadged versions of the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi K70e. Besides a few differences, both phones are quite similar.
POCO X6 Pro:
The new POCO X6 Pro comes with a 3D curved frosted glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It measures 8.09 mm thick and weighs 198 grams.
The POCO X6 Pro 5G sports the new AMOLED 6.67 inches 1.5K (2712 x 1220p) 12-bit OLED display with 120Hz refresh rates. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top and HDR 10+ support. POCO X6 Pro comes with the new Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC. The POCO X6 Pro 5G comes with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage version.
The new POCO X6 Pro 5G features triple-rear cameras with a 64MP primary OmniVision OV64B with an aperture of f/1.89, OIS+EIS support, an 8MP 120-degree Ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2, & 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, 1.75μm with LED flash. It comes with 4K video recording at 30fps and 720p at 960fps. The POCO X6 Pro 5G comes with a single selfie camera with a 16MP sensor.

POCO X6 5G:
The new POCO X6 5G will sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a peak brightness of 1600/1800 nits and supports 10-bit colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR10+. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top & in-display fingerprint scanner.
POCO X6 5G comes with the latest Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. It is coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage space.
The POCO X6 5G will feature a new 64MP main sensor (f/1.65) with OIS support. The remaining two sensors are the same with 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensors. It will ship with a 16MP selfie shooter. There are also features IR Blaster support & IP54 rated on the POCO X6 5G.
The connectivity options include dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, a USB-C port, a linear motor, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The POCO X6 5G packs a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charge support respectively. It runs on Android 14 OS with MIUI 14 on top.
Pricing:
The POCO X6 has a starting price of Rs 21,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. In terms of pricing, 12GB + 256GB options cost Rs 23,999 while 12GB + 512GB options cost Rs 24,999. As for the X6 Pro, its price is Rs 26,999 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration and Rs 28,999 for the 12GB + 512GB configuration.
The POCO X6 comes in Mirror Black and Snowstorm White, while the X6 Pro comes in Spectre Black, Racing Grey, and POCO Yellow. Flipkart will begin selling the X6 duo on January 16. There is a discount of Rs 2,000 available to ICICI Bank cardholders.
