IQOO released the iQOO 12 Pro and 12 12 in November 2023. In December, iQOO launched the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone in other markets for the first time. Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro were unveiled in December with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets, respectively. IQOO may launch the iQOO Z9 and iQOO 12s in the first half of this year in the home market, according to recent reports.
The iQOO Z9 is expected to come with the Dimensity 8300 chipset, according to Smart Pikachu. With the same processor, the device is a strong competitor against the Redmi K70e. IQOO Z9 will be primarily focused on providing a long battery life, according to the leaker. Therefore, the Z9 may have a larger battery than the Z8.
It was also revealed that the iQOO 12s would be available for the Chinese market as well. It is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Sadly, the leaker did not reveal anything else about the Z9 and 12s.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, iQOO is also rumored to be working on a device with Qualcomm’s SM-8635 chipset. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 or Snapdragon 8 series chip could be used. iQOO Neo 9 SE could be the name of the device when it launches.
