Xiaomi is preparing a smart ecosystem event at MWC 2024 after launching a series of phones in its home country and global markets. For the first time, the brand will showcase some of its groundbreaking products outside of China. The Xiaomi 14 global variant might also be unveiled at the same event.
In Barcelona, Spain, Xiaomi will attend MWC 2024, which takes place every year. The company invited the media to experience the “Human x Car x Home smart ecosystem” at its booth. On February 26th, Xiaomi’s MWC 2024 event will kick off, and the booth will remain on-site until February 29th.
The invite above is quite cryptic and does not reveal what the brand may be preparing for the event. With the new HyperOS software, Xiaomi has put a greater emphasis on its ecosystem. The brand could showcase its strategy to bring ecosystem products to global markets at this event after multiple events in China last year.
Its brand-new Xiaomi SU7 EV could be the focus of the event’s “car” aspect. On December 28th, Xiaomi officially unveiled the car it will launch this year in the Chinese market. Xiaomi has not yet revealed the price of the car, and there is no indication that it will be released in other markets. It would be a good opportunity for Xiaomi to showcase its connected ecosystem with this vehicle at MWC 2024.
Also, the Xiaomi 14 is expected to launch globally at MWC. It appears that the vanilla model is making its debut outside of China as the Pro variant lacks certifications.
