In India, the Redmi Note 13 lineup will be launched for the first time outside China on January 4. Other markets will be released in the future. According to a Chinese tipster, the company is preparing to launch the Note 14 series in China while the global market is preparing for the Note 13 series.
In the first quarter of 2024, Realme plans to unveil the Realme 12 series. Several Realme 12 models are expected to be released, but no significant details have been revealed yet. Reports, however, have provided key details about the Realme 12 Pro.
The Realme 12 series, particularly the Pro lineup, will face competition from the Redmi Note 14 series, according to a Chinese leaker. Since the Redmi Note 13 series was released in China in September, the company will likely wait six months before announcing the Redmi Note 14 series.
Accordingly, it could debut in the first quarter of 2024, perhaps in February. As per the tipster, the Note 14 series will feature a curved display, some flagship-level features, and the same price range as the Realme line. Some of the camera features on the company’s flagship smartphones will also be decentralized on the Note 14 series.
Redmi Note 14 series specifications are currently unavailable. A telephoto and periscope telephoto camera is expected to be introduced by the rival brand on the 12 Pro series for 2,000 Yuan ($280). Therefore, the Redmi Note 14 Pro could come with a telephoto camera, while the Note 14 Pro+ will come with a periscope telephoto camera.
