In Mexico, Vivo silently announced the Vivo V30 Lite 5G smartphone. The Vivo V29 Lite 5G, which debuted in June, has been succeeded by the Snapdragon 695-powered Vivo V29 Lite 5G. The Vivo V30 Lite comes with the following features.
Design:
The Vivo V30 Lite 5G will have a curved-edge display with a fingerprint scanner. There’s a rectangle module on the back with an LED flash and two camera rings with three sensors.
This phone has a sleek back panel with nanoscale photo-etched patterns. Last but not least, the phone is dust and water-resistant according to IP54 standards. It measures 7.69mm thick and weighs 190 grams.
Specs:
The Vivo V30 Lite sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device also has in-display fingerprint scanner support. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage that can be expanded further.
Vivo V30 Lite runs on Android 13 out of the box. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
The Vivo V30 Lite will have a 64MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP third sensor. Aura ring-LED flash supports temperature control for the rear cameras. For selfies and video chats, there’s a 50MP camera. The phone packs a 4800mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
Pricing:
Mexico’s price for the Vivo V30 Lite is MXN 8,999 (about $530). Forest Black and Rose Gold are the two shades available. In addition to Mexico, the smartphone will also be released in some Asian markets shortly.
