Over the past two to three years, Samsung’s Galaxy S series has featured a similar design. According to a Taiwanese publication, the Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone features an identical design to the Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series may feature some major design changes when it launches in 2025. It hasn’t been long since the S25 launched, but we’ve seen quite a few leaks.

In a new post, Tech Reve, a tipster on X, reveals that Samsung plans to significantly improve the design of the Galaxy S series smartphones. Samsung has hired Ilhwan Lee, a former designer at Mercedes Benz, to lead the MX division in December 2022.

Galaxy S series smartphones will be designed by the former designer. As is typical with the S series, the Galaxy S25 series will likely go official in the first month of 2025. Compared to their predecessors, the Galaxy S25 series smartphones are also expected to have various improvements.

Samsung will replace ISOCELL GN3 sensors in Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ smartphones with Sony sensors, according to a separate post by the tipster. According to some reports, Samsung will likely equip the S25 and S25+ smartphones with the Sony LYT 900 sensor. According to reports, Samsung is working on a 200MP sensor for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
