Redmi has officially confirmed the arrival of the 5G variant of the Redmi 13C, following the recent announcement of the launch date. On December 6, the Redmi 13C will be launched in India in both 4G and 5G versions. There is no exact time for the launch, but it is expected to take place around 12 PM IST.

Due to the fact that the 4G model is already available on the global market, we already know its specifications. With regard to 5G, however, the same cannot be said. The official teaser confirmed that the Redmi 13C 5G will arrive with a new MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC.

Based on 3C certification, the smartphone will support 10W fast charging. It’s interesting to note that the 4G variant can charge at 18W. More details will be revealed via teasers in the coming days. To get a sense of what the 5G model will offer, check out the specs of the 4G variant.

The new Redmi 13C will sport a 6.74-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display also gets Corning Gorilla Glass protection and an oleophobic coating & 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB  storage.

It features a 50MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging support. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, NFC, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. The device measures 8.09 mm thick and weighs 192g.
