After teasing the A59 5G a few days ago, Oppo has launched it in India. It offers a large high refresh rate display, a MediaTek chip, two rear cameras, a large battery, and fast charging support for a budget 5G smartphone.
Design:
The new A59 5G model will strike the perfect balance between sleek design, smooth performance, and fast charging battery. Its thin design measures just 8.12mm and weighs 187 grams. Using its unique treatment, it has a polycarbonate frame with a metallic texture. An elegant shiny Ring housing houses both the sensor and the flat panel on the rear. It comes in two colors, Silk Gold and Starry Black.

The new OPPO A59 5G will sport a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD with 90Hz refresh rate support. It is now powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM & 128GB storage options. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
On the back, the Oppo A59 5G will ship with dual-rear cameras with a 13MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. It comes with an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.05 aperture.
All this is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Oppo A59 5G is priced at Rs.14,999/- in India. For this smartphone, the brand is offering a cashback of up to 1500 INR and no-cost EMI options.
