On January 4, OnePlus will launch the Ace 3 smartphone in China. At the same event, the brand will also unveil a TWS earphone. A new offering from OnePlus is the OnePlus Buds 3. OnePlus shared a teaser poster on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo showing off the TWS earphones.
It is revealed on the poster that the OnePlus Buds 3 has a semi-in-ear design with a glossy stem and matte silicone ear tips. In comparison to the OnePlus Buds Pro and 2 earphones, the TWS earphones are without a dual-tone design. Its storage and charging case retains the same squarish shape.
The OnePlus Buds 3 will be available in Space Grey and Clear Sea Blue. OnePlus claims to “popularize flagship sound quality and be the first choice for OnePlus users”. The earphones are advertised as wireless noise-canceling headphones. Pre-orders for the TWS earphones are now available on Tmall, JD, and OPPO Mall in China.

According to reports, the OnePlus Buds 3 will be equipped with a 10.4mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. There will be 48dB noise cancellation, as well as Google Fast Pair and dual connectivity. There will be an IP55 rating on the earphones. OnePlus Buds 3 will also feature 3D spatial audio, LHDC 5.0, and a 44-hour battery life, according to tipster Digital Chat Station.
